Research

The Research tab allows you to view information from Fetch & Retrieve, Google Custom Search, and Knowledgebase.


Google Custom Search

You can get to Google Custom Search by clicking the 'research' tab, then the 'Google Custom Search' tab.

Google Custom Search allows you to search across all of your resources using Google's Custom Search Engine. For more information on setting up Google Custom Search, see our Screen-by-Screen article on Google Custom Search or our Cookbook Recipe on Google Custom Search article.

To use Google Custom Search, enter your search term into the box, select the Custom Search you wish to use, and hit search. A window will pop up with your search results in it.

Knowledgebase

To get to the Knowledgebase, click the 'research' tab, then the 'Knowledgebase' tab.

The Knowledgebase allows you to add articles that your users and workers have access to. For more information on providing users access to Knowledgebase articles, see our Screen-by-Screen article on Support Center -> Knowledgebase or Knowledgebase Cookbook recipe articles, as it is outside of the scope of this article.

Add Topic

Clicking the Add Topic button will allow you to add a new topic.

Add Article

Clicking the add article button will allow you to add a new article to the system

Topics

The topics section at the top of the page lists all of the topics in the system. Clicking on 'Top' will return you to the root category. Clicking an existing topic will take you to that topic. Clicking a topic will allow you to edit that topic, add subcategories to that topic, and add articles to that topic.

Edit Topic

Clicking on the Edit Topic button will pop up a pane that allows you to edit the name of the Topic

Add Subcategory

Clicking on the Add Subcategory button will allow you to add a subcategory to the existing category.a

Add Article

Clicking on the Add Article button will open the Add Article pane, with the current category already checked

Search

Clicking the search button will take you to a search page, allowing you to search articles. Note: The browse button will take you back to browse page. Like all search pages, you can filter your results using the filter section on the left side of the page.
