Permissions
To get to Permissions, click on 'helpdesk setup' then the 'Permissions' tab.
Permissions allow you to restrict Workers in your Helpdesk from performing certain tasks. Permissions are only available with a paid license!
- add new role: Clicking this link will refresh the ‘edit’ pane on the right side of the screen, so you can add a new role.
- [clicking on an existing role]: Clicking any of the existing roles will refresh the 'edit' pane on the right side of the screen, allowing you to edit existing roles.
- Role Name: The name of this role.
- Workers: Select the workers you wish to have this role. Roles are cumulative, so if a Worker has 2 roles, each with separate permissions, they will have all permissions from both roles.
- Permissions: Check the permissions you wish this role to grant to users.
